Looking for a Career, Not Just Your Next Job?
What if your next role wasn't just another job but an opportunity to help change an entire industry?
At Pension Pulse, we're on a mission to make financial advice accessible to everyone. Today, only around 9% of people in the UK take financial advice, leaving millions without the guidance they need to make life-changing financial decisions. We believe that has to change.
We're not your traditional financial services business, were creating a new category!
We're a private equity-backed, high-growth company disrupting an industry that's been slow to evolve. We're one of the fastest-growing financial planning businesses in the UK, using technology, great people and fresh thinking to remove the barriers that have stopped so many people accessing expert financial advice.
That's why we're looking beyond the financial services industry.
We're not just hiring experienced pensions professionals. We're looking for ambitious people who want to build a career, learn something new and be part of a business that's genuinely making a difference. If you've got great organisational skills, enjoy helping people and want to be part of something exciting, we'll teach you everything else.
Why Join Us?
This is more than a Client Relationship Manager role. It's an opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of growth where your career can grow just as quickly.
We invest heavily in our people because we know they're the reason we succeed. From comprehensive training and professional qualifications to genuine progression opportunities, we'll help you build a career not just do a job.
As we continue to grow, so do the opportunities. Whether your ambition is to become a senior specialist, lead a team or move into another area of the business, we'll support you every step of the way.
If you've ever wanted to join a business where you can help shape the future rather than simply maintain the past, this is your opportunity.
The Role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you'll play a vital role in helping people take positive steps towards achieving their financial goals. You'll be at the heart of our client journey, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional and reassuring from the very first enquiry through to the later stages of the financial planning process.
As the first point of contact, you'll build trusted relationships with clients, taking the time to understand their needs, providing guidance and support, and ensuring they feel informed and confident every step of the way. Your ability to communicate clearly, stay organised and deliver an exceptional client experience will help turn what can often feel like a complex process into one that is seamless, straightforward and genuinely rewarding.
Working closely with our Financial Advisers and wider team, you'll coordinate the client journey, arrange key meetings, keep clients updated on progress and ensure every touchpoint reflects our commitment to outstanding service, professionalism and helping people achieve better financial futures.
What We're Looking For

- Demonstrate resilience, maintaining a positive attitude and persistence when faced with challenges, setbacks or demanding situations.

- Possess excellent intuition, allowing you to read situations, understand client needs and adapt your approach accordingly.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared success.
- Are an excellent communicator, building rapport with clients and colleagues through clear, confident and professional verbal and written communication.
- Are adaptable, embracing change, learning quickly and responding positively to new challenges, priorities and ways of working.

- Successfully close opportunities.
- Handle objections professionally and confidently.
- Stay motivated in a target-driven environment and consistently strive to exceed expectations.
- Demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism, acting with discretion, integrity and confidentiality at all times.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where balancing priorities and working to tight deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) is essential.
- Take ownership and accountability for your work, following through on commitments and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Previous experience in a client-facing, sales or account management role is essential. You'll have a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate confidently with customers via phone and email, coordinate appointments or processes, and deliver a consistently high standard of service. Experience working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are key will set you up for success.
