We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join Cuckoo in a hybrid role, combining pizza chef duties with bar work.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working across different areas of hospitality and wants to develop both their kitchen and bartending skills.
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly working with fresh food or pizza, but full bar training will be provided through our in-house training programme. If you're keen to learn, work hard and become a valued member of the team, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking our fresh pizzas to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Supporting the bar team during busy periods
- Learning cocktail making, drinks service and bar operations
- Delivering excellent customer experiences both front and back of house
What we're looking for:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- A willingness to learn both kitchen and bar operations
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, late-night venue
- Able to work bar shifts finishing as late as 4:00am when required
- Full availability throughout the summer and on Bank Holidays
- A flexible team player who enjoys variety in their role
Hours & Pay
- Part-time position
- 20–30 hours per week
- Varied shifts across kitchen and bar
- £10.85–£12.80 per hour
- Pay increase available upon successful completion of our in-house certification programme
