We're looking for a Deputy General Manager to lead our Glasgow workshop. This is your opportunity to take ownership of a major operation, lead experienced technical teams and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to some of the UK's best-known fleet operators.

As Deputy General Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of our Glasgow workshop, driving productivity, profitability, customer service and technician performance while maintaining the high standards expected of an authorised IVECO dealership.
The Job
This is a hands-on operational leadership role with responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the workshop. You'll lead technicians and support teams, ensure exceptional customer service, drive productivity and profitability, and create a culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the General Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team and act as deputy in their absence.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading the daily operation of the Glasgow workshop
Managing technician performance, utilisation and efficiency
Driving workshop productivity, labour recovery and profitability
Ensuring maintenance, repair and inspection work is completed safely and on time
Managing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases and minimising downtime
Creating a high-performing, engaged and accountable team culture
Coaching, developing and retaining workshop colleagues
Ensuring compliance with manufacturer, DVSA and company standards
Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturer representatives
Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
Supporting business growth and operational excellence
What You'll Bring
Experience within a dealer, fleet or commercial vehicle environment
Previous experience leading a busy commercial workshop or operational teams
Strong understanding of workshop planning, utilisation and performance
Commercial awareness and budget responsibility
Experience managing KPIs and operational delivery
Excellent leadership and people development skills
Strong understanding of health and safety compliance
A passion for customer service and operational excellence

Salary range of £46,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
