This job would be for 4 days / week (days and start times to be agreed) , plus Saturdays 8am to 4pm organised on a rota basis by the branch manager. The successful person would be working for a family run business who have decorating centres across Southwest England and South Wales. Rabart provide services to professional trade people, other businesses, local authorities, DIY'ers and we also have retail showrooms selling designer paints, wall papers and fabrics where customers can get advice around colour choice and product selection from our staff. Rabart Decorating Centre in Bath (T/A Davies of Bath) is a well established branch and we need an individual who has excellent customer service skills, who is enthusiastic and prepared to go over and above when providing a service to our clients. Working with and answering to the Branch Manager, key responsibilities would include:
- Serving customers with the aim of driving sales and growth in the branch as a whole.
- Helping to maintain the overall appearance and stocking levels in the branch.
- Helping with merchandising.
- Assisting customers with their colour choice and product selection.
- Assisting customers with their wallpaper and fabric selection.
- Ordering and mixing paint products as/when required.
- Occasional deliveries in company vehicle as/when required.
We are looking for a colleague who is keen to learn, flexible and who can work Saturdays as a standard working day- taking a day off during the week (day to be agreed). Working days would start from around 8.30am/9.00am and would finish by 5.00pm the latest.
It is worth noting that Rabart offer 33 days per annum leave (including all Bank Holidays) for full-time staff which is much more than the national average.
Pay: £12.75 per hour
