Responsibilities
- Conduct regular CCTV surveillance to monitor activity across the site, identifying potential security threats or irregularities.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by observing and deterring theft or vandalism through vigilant patrols and monitoring.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Assist with access control procedures, verifying identities of visitors, contractors, and staff to ensure authorized entry.
- Perform visual inspections of the premises, including entrances, exits, and secure areas, to maintain safety standards.
- Provide first aid assistance when required, following established protocols to support injured individuals until professional help arrives.
- Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and surveillance documentation accurately to ensure thorough record-keeping.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields such as surveillance or loss prevention is preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology is essential for effective monitoring.
- Ability to perform physical patrols around the site, including standing, walking, and visual inspections for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
- Certification in first aid or willingness to obtain training upon hire is highly desirable.
- A proactive attitude with keen attention to detail and the ability to respond calmly under pressure.
- Knowledge of security procedures related to loss prevention and emergency response protocols.
