The Senior Manager Role
We’re looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Senior Management team and play a key role in developing the technical capability and repair standards of our field-based team. You will be based at our Head Office at Moira but have the flexibility to travel throughout the UK when required.
As a Senior Manager, you will be one of the company’s senior technical experts, working closely with our Managers, Quality Assurance Team, Training Department and Technicians to maintain consistent repair standards. You will spend your time either at our Head Office in our Training Academy or in the field supporting technicians with complex repairs and customer service issues, delivering coaching and helping our field-based team improve their repair standards.
You will be responsible for your own fully equipped Shine Mercedes van which will be provided to you.
As a Senior Manager you will be comfortable working hands-on alongside technicians, dealing with customer service issues and contributing to the team at a Senior Management Level.

Essentials for the role
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of vehicle bodywork and paint repair methods, with technical knowledge to complete work to an excellent standard
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to achieving excellent repair and finish standards
- Strong understanding of repair quality standards
- Previous experience coaching, mentoring or developing technicians in a field based or bodyshop environment
- Ability to demonstrate repair techniques and deliver hands-on technical training
- Ability to handle customer service situations professionally, remaining calm and focussed on achieving a positive solution
- Experience with water-based paint and 2k clearcoats
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions while working remotely
- Strong knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication with the ability to work alongside technicians, operational managers and senior leaders
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK when required
- Full UK driving licence
Pay: Up to £56,000.00 per year
