CBS Driver Hire & Recruitment is building a highways defect & reinstatement gang for DAY works around Bishops Waltham and the wider Hampshire area, on behalf of an established civil engineering and highways contractor. Ongoing work with an immediate start for the right people.
We're recruiting for two roles on the gang:
7.5t TIPPER DRIVER
- C1 (7.5 tonne) licence or above
- CSCS card for site access
- No Driver CPC? Not a problem on this type of work. On a defect/reinstatement gang the driving is not the main job, so Driver CPC is usually NOT required - your C1 licence and CSCS card are what matter. Ask us and we'll explain.
- Digital tacho card an advantage
- You'll drive the tipper to and between jobs and then work alongside the gang on the repairs
HIGHWAYS / REINSTATEMENT OPERATIVES
- CSCS card essential
- NRSWA (streetworks) a plus but NOT essential - one qualified operative can cover the gang
- Experience of pothole repairs, patching, tarmac/asphalt, kerbing and reinstatement all welcome
- Happy to work days
ALL APPLICANTS

- Own transport to get to the depot/site
- Full PPE (we can advise)
- Reliable, good timekeeper, strong work ethic
Pay: £170-£220 per day depending on role and experience, paid via CIS or umbrella. Day shifts.
