About the Role
Expotour Seg UK is looking for a hands-on Security Gate Technician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair automated gates and access-control equipment. The successful candidate will help maintain reliable and secure entry systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain automated security gates.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Test sensors, motors, access controls, and related components.
- Respond to breakdowns and service requests.
- Maintain service documentation.
- Follow electrical, safety, and security procedures.
- Coordinate with site and security teams.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience with automated gates, access systems, or similar equipment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical diagrams.
- Good safety awareness and attention to detail.
