Production Operative
We are seeking skilled Production Operatives to join our client in Shepton Mallet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, bottling, packaging, and quality control processes to ensure that products meet the highest standards. This role involves working with various machinery, adhering to strict hygiene standards, and contributing to a safe and efficient production environment.
Shepton Mallet based
Working 4 on 4 off Day and Night rotation. 06:00-18:00 // 18:00-06:00
£12.71 + Shift Premium
Pay rise achievable once permanent contract offered
Duties include but not limited to:
· Set up & operate machinery and associated equipment.
· Maintain accurate record keeping, ensuring traceability.
· To observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity products
· Stop or reset machine when malfunctions occur. Clear jams, and report issues to lead ops and shift managers.
· Perform changeovers in a timely and efficient manner
· Maintain the cleanliness of the production line
· Ensure GMP standards are met, performing cleaning duties as required on any Brothers Drinks site
· Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination
· Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, always wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Skills
· Experience in a factory setting with a focus on food or beverage manufacturing is highly preferred
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
· Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as necessary
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
· Self-motivated and dedicated to departments progress
