THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced manager who is commercially minded and passionate about hospitality to manage a new acquisition in the lovely town of Horsham, West Sussex. The bar is an established public house with two floors and large external area. The focus will be to develop a great venue with a mix of food, sport and entertainment for a discerning customer base in the town centre.
You will be responsible for the overall running of the venue, including:
Team Leadership:
Lead, motivate and develop the team.
Commercial Growth:
Drive sales, maintain profitability and gross profit and control costs including rotas, and labour.
Atmosphere & Operations:
Manage bar and food operations to deliver a great experience, particularly around major sporting, local or national events.
Standards & Compliance:
Maintaining top-tier service and adhere to regulations on licensing and health & safety compliance.
Business Development:
Managing sales, promotions, and events in close partnership with the All Our Bars management team.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone with proven ability running a busy retail business prereably with bar or restaurant experience.
You must be:
Hands-on: A leader who leads from the front and gets “stuck in”.
Gregarious: someone who can relate to people in all walks of life and who enjoys mixing with and meeting new people
Commercially Sharp: Experienced with P&L management, GP margins, labour costs, and stock control.
Customer-Focused: Driven by high standards, excellent service, and strong team motivation.
Flexible: Prepared to work hard in a 7 day business while maintaining focus on the end goal
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary: £48,000- £52,000 basic depending on experience + performance-related bonus scheme.
Position: Full-time, live-out.
