Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated FOH (Front of House) Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous experience in the restaurant or catering industry is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table setup and clearing
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system, including cash and card transactions
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper food handling and storage
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for all new team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Experience in serving or guest services roles demonstrates strong customer focus and communication skills
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary environments can be advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately and managing bills
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
