Duties
- Supervise daily coffee shop operations, ensuring high standards of service and food quality are maintained at all times.
- Assist with basic food preparation and cooking, including making beverages like coffee and tea, as well as light food items.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on customer service, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and monitor team performance to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the shop, including kitchen and serving zones.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels, placing orders when necessary, and minimizing waste.
- Engage with customers to deliver friendly service, handle inquiries or complaints professionally, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience within a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, and beverage crafting—barista experience is a plus!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production is essential.
- Prior experience in serving customers will help you succeed in this role.
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to inspire your team.
