We are looking for a passionate and committed Youth Development Worker to join our team.
In this role, you will support children and young people in their personal, social, health, and wellbeing development through guidance, mentoring, peer education, and structured activities. You will help plan and deliver engaging programmes, build trusted relationships, and support young people to develop confidence, skills, and a sense of belonging.
You will also work closely with partners, local schools, services, and youth organisations to strengthen opportunities for children and young people across the community.
- Salary: £17,035 pro rata
- Hours 21 hours per week
- Based: Station Seven, Johnstone and Gallowhill, Paisley
- Special conditions: Normal working week will be Tuesday to Thursday, with early evening finish and some evening and weekend work as youth work develops.
A satisfactory PVG check for adults and children will be required.
