Job Summary:
Coppard Plant Hire Ltd are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting plant and machinery and using lorry mounted crane across various locations in the south east a in timely and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive lorries to transport plant and machinery designated locations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
- Follow delivery schedules and adapt to traffic or weather conditions
- Maintain accurate driving logs and complete delivery paperwork as required
- Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles
- Valid commercial driver's licence (CPC)
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
