We are looking for a full-time Retail Branch Manager to lead the team based at our Telford store, drive sales, and create an inviting shopping experience at our quality gift and greeting card store.
Job Summary
The full-time Retail Branch Manager oversees daily operations, staff performance and sales growth for our gift and greeting card store. This role requires an energetic leader who can maintain a welcoming shop floor, manage a high volume seasonal inventory and drive sales.
What You Will Do
- Lead and Inspire: Recruit, train and manage a dedicated team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Drive sales: Driving performance & achieving sales results to maximise profitability.
- Merchandising: Design eye-catching visual displays.
- Manage Stock: Run efficient inventory checks, manage supplier deliveries and keep popular items well stocked.
- Oversee Operations: Handle daily opening/closing procedures, cash management, banking and store safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Recruit, train and schedule a full-time & part-time team to ensure complete shop floor coverage.
- Sales Growth: Meet monthly revenue targets by coaching staff on add-on sales.
- Inventory Control: Track stock levels for fast moving items, manage supplier deliveries and minimise stock shrinkage.
- Daily Operations: Manage cash handling, opening/closing tasks, banking deposits and health and safety compliance.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience in retail management or a previous supervisory role
- Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills with experience supervising or leading a team.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and busy seasonal periods.
