Rochdale Boroughwide Housing is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst to join our Data & Insights Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about data quality, governance, and continuous improvement, and who wants to play a key role in ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose across the organisation.
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you'll help identify and resolve data quality issues, develop controls and monitoring processes, and support the delivery of high-quality data that enables effective decision-making.
What you'll be doing as our Data Quality Analyst:

Monitoring and analysing data quality across key business systems.

Identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

Developing and maintaining data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring processes.

Investigating data quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions.

Producing and maintaining data quality dashboards, reports, and exception logs.

Supporting the development of data quality standards, procedures, and guidance.

Contributing to data governance activities and forums.

Promoting data quality awareness and best practice across the organisation.

Building strong relationships with stakeholders to support continuous improvement in data management.
About you
You will have a passion for data, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyse information critically. You'll be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical colleagues and enjoy solving problems through a methodical and evidence-based approach.
What we're looking for

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including analysis, validation, reconciliation, and quality checking.

Experience using SQL to extract, analyse, and validate data.

Knowledge of data quality principles and data governance practices.

Experience producing reports, dashboards, and exception logs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to a range of audiences.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
