Job Summary:
As a Chef at Kockraco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our fresh charcoal chicken dishes. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting our signature dishes using our secret spice blend. Your expertise in grilling over an open charcoal grill will be highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook fresh charcoal chicken dishes according to Kockraco's recipes and standards.
Marinate the chicken for 24 hours using the secret spice blend, ensuring the flavors are infused perfectly.
Grill chicken and other menu items over an open charcoal grill, ensuring optimal flavor and tenderness.
Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Ensure all food products are stored, handled, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following food hygiene standards.
Assist in the development of new menu items and participate in menu planning.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a grill or barbecue setting.
In-depth knowledge of grilling techniques and experience using an open charcoal grill.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious dishes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and presentation skills.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
