Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing exceptional service to our customers in a lively and welcoming environment. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with company standards.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Engage with customers professionally to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
