We are seeking a dedicated and personable full time Bartender to join our vibrant, fun hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately, adhering to cash handling procedures.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and recognising signs of intoxication.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or as a bartender within a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent serving skills combined with good organisational abilities.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of service.
Previous bartending/mixology experience is essential and knowledge of restaurant food operations would be advantageous. You will work closely with the Area Manager, make sure drinks are prepared to the high-standard expected from our customers and going above & beyond in the service ensuring that all guests leave El Cerdo wanting to come back! A good understanding of spoken & written English as well as having the right to live and work in the UK.
