Vertiq Hospitality Partners is looking for an Area Revenue Manager to complete the Corporate Revenue team. In this full time position you will report to the VP Commercial (based in the UK) and lead a team up to 2 direct team members.
Vertiq is an investment and operational management firm focussed on the hospitality real estate sector in Europe. Vertiq works with capital partners to identify, execute, operate and asset manage its investments.
Vertiq’s current portfolio includes ca. 35 operational hotels across Europe in 7 different countries. We are expanding our team to increase our portfolio through pan-European hotel and portfolio investments.
Provide revenue oversight, guidance, and strategic direction to on-property revenue teams, external revenue service providers, and General Managers across hotels managed by Vertiq Hospitality Partners. Lead and support the Vertiq Revenue Team in maintaining revenue management frameworks, best practices, and performance optimization.
Act as a trusted advisor on rooms revenue performance, including pricing, inventory, segmentation, channel mix, and short- and long-term revenue strategies. Support hotels in adopting effective ways of working, embedding a commercial mindset, and maximizing revenue and profit through aligned commercial activities.
- Guide the Vertiq Revenue Team, on-property teams, external partners, and General Managers in optimizing rooms revenue performance across all channels and markets.
- Build strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Asset Management, Investments & Development teams, as well as owners, partners, suppliers, service providers, brands, and hotel leadership.
- Ensure teams maximize hotel contribution through all distribution channels and brand programs.
- Lead revenue-management integration and onboarding for newly signed hotels.
- Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing revenue teams with clear objectives and accountability.
- Support professional development and capability building across assigned hotels.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration between corporate and hotel teams.
- Review and guide pricing and inventory management strategies across hotels.
- Evaluate weekly and monthly pricing performance by segment and channel, recommending improvements.
- Assess pricing decisions against competitor sets and market conditions to identify optimization opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with key third-party distribution partners and monitor market trends.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to improve account contribution across segments and channels.
- Support planning and execution of promotional calendars to optimize demand, revenue, and ancillary spend.
- Guide channel optimization initiatives and distribution cost management.
- Conduct at least bi-quarterly reviews with on-property teams, external partners, or General Managers to identify revenue opportunities.
- Support revenue teams in analysis and decision-making where applicable.
- Review plans and recommend actions for corporate and hotel teams.
- Provide guidance on stakeholder management, communication of complex data, and revenue decision-making.
- Share best practices and strategic recommendations as a trusted advisor to support topline revenue growth.
- Deliver clear insights and recommendations through effective stakeholder engagement and meeting participation.
- Ensure stakeholders understand analyses, recommendations, and accountabilities.
- Align revenue strategies with owner and investment partner expectations and engage where appropriate.
- Minimum five years' senior revenue management experience in hospitality, preferably across branded hotels and multiple markets.
- Proven ability to develop and execute revenue strategies and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across commercial, operational, and ownership groups.
- Deep expertise in pricing, inventory management, segmentation, distribution channels, and revenue analytics.
- Strategic, data-driven mindset with the ability to convert insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and complex projects.
- Passion for hospitality and proven ability to drive performance across diverse partners.
