About the role
12 months of secure work on one site in Fulham — no travelling between jobs.
Sunbeam Contracts Ltd is looking for a Skilled Labourer / Site Handyperson to support our fit-out team on a large commercial wardrobe installation project in Fulham. The site programme runs for 12 months. You'll work closely with our Site Fitter and report to the site-based Site Supervisor.
What you'll be doing:
- Loading out materials and distributing to work areas
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Building up pre-made flat-pack wardrobe carcasses
- Clipping on wardrobe doors and fitting components
- Adjusting doors to achieve consistent gaps
- Fitting LED lighting strips/components under direction
- General support to the Site Fitter and site team
What we're looking for:
- CSCS Labourer card (green) minimum – essential
- Practical, hands-on ability – comfortable with basic assembly and hand tools
- Own 18v tools preferred, but not essential
- Experience on live commercial sites preferred
- Able to work to full 5-point PPE requirements at all times (site rule)
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player with a can-do attitude
- A good level of spoken English is required, to safely understand site inductions, safety briefings and instructions, and to communicate clearly with the site team
