Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plastering techniques. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and repairing.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople.
- Perform repairs on existing plasterwork and carry out maintenance tasks as required.
- Follow safety protocols while working on roofs or elevated surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of projects.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Multi traders mainly wet trades.
- Proven experience in Plastering, Rendering, Sand and Cement Floating, Pointing of brick work, Wall Coating (Painting/Decorating), drains and screed work or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools specific to plastering.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks and lift heavy materials when necessary.
