We're hiring a Manager, Transfer Pricing Accounting to lead the accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment of transfer pricing processes across our growing group structure.
Sitting within Finance and reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Holdings, you'll work closely with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, Group Finance, and Technical Accounting. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role with minimal travel within Europe.
You'll design and maintain robust transfer pricing frameworks, oversee documentation and compliance, and establish scalable processes and strong governance to support Nscale's continued global expansion.
Transfer pricing policy and compliance
- Oversee transfer pricing accounting and reporting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, ensuring intercompany transactions comply with OECD guidelines, local regulations, and group policies.
- Help design, implement, and maintain transfer pricing policies aligned with the group's operating model and financial and tax reporting requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the transfer pricing tax team and related inquiries, coordinating responses with the Senior Manager.
Intercompany accounting and reporting
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes for intercompany transactions, including allocations, eliminations, reconciliations, and documentation within NetSuite.
- Ensure accurate accounting and disclosure of services, royalties, loans, guarantees, and other cross-border arrangements.
- Collaborate with Technical Accounting on complex intercompany transactions, including restructurings, M&A, financing arrangements, intellectual property transfers, and cost-sharing agreements.
Controls, governance, and cross-functional partnership
- Strengthen and maintain internal controls over transfer pricing processes to support audit readiness, compliance, and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
- Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and Group Finance to align transfer pricing policies with tax filings, financial reporting, and operational activities.
- Support entity governance, legal entity restructuring, and operating model transformations, ensuring transfer pricing implications are properly addressed.
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities by implementing group transfer pricing policies, consistent intercompany pricing, and documentation requirements.
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or an equivalent qualification is strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards and familiarity with cross-border transactions; experience with IFRS and UK GAAP is a strong plus.
- Good technical accounting skills, with the ability to navigate complex transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to see both the big picture and the fine details.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with confidence working across teams to get things done.
- Adaptability and initiative, with the ability to take on new challenges and prioritise effectively as the business scales.
- Experience in a high-growth or fast-paced start-up environment is a plus.
- Prior involvement in building or scaling finance functions is a plus.
