We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista/Coffee shop assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have experience within a coffee shop environment
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and prepare beverages
- Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
- Stock and replenish supplies as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista is essential
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Effective time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards
