Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the role of Upholstery. This position involves hands-on work in a dynamic environment, requiring a combination of technical skills and physical endurance. The successful candidate will contribute to various projects involving assembly, fabrication, and maintenance tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout.
Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines as required for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Assist with the fabrication process, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling to move materials or finished products safely.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Experience in pub/hotel contract furniture
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience manufacturing environments is desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Skills in sewing, fabrication, or assembly work are advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods and handle manual tasks involving lifting or moving heavy items.
