Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Support food safety standards by following proper handling procedures during food preparation and service
- Manage cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and provide accurate change
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery times and ensure timely service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; a passion for guest service is essential
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory checks
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills to engage positively with guests and team members
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation processes
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- A proactive attitude with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: £12.71 per hour
