We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our nursery in Dartford.
Our nursery has recently been taken over by new management, creating an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh start and growing team. We are looking for a passionate early years professional who can help support the Nursery Manager in delivering high-quality childcare, strong leadership and an outstanding learning environment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner looking to step into a Deputy Manager role, or for an existing Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Lead and support staff to deliver high-quality care and education
- Ensure the nursery meets EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Help mentor, support and develop the nursery team
- Build strong relationships with children, families and staff
- Support with staff rotas, planning and nursery operations
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader, Senior Practitioner or Deputy Manager
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Passionate about providing outstanding early years care
