Linac NDT Services are looking for an experienced Radiographer ideally qualified to PCN L2 to join their experienced team in Wombwell, Barnsley. This is a full-time, permanent role
As the Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing a reliable and efficient radiography service to our clients across a variety of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out radiographic interpretation on a range of materials and components working with X-Ray & Gamma Ray methods.
- Generate radiographic techniques.
- Good understanding of specifications & acceptance standards.
- Ensure that all results are accurately recorded and reported.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company local rules and current legislation and health and safety procedures.
- Calibrate & ensure that all equipment is maintained in a safe condition.
- Preparing components for inspection.
- Due to nature of work involved applicants will be asked to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative as well as within a team.
- Computer literate.
Qualifications:
- PCN Level 2 certification in Radiography (Essential)
- Previous experience working to SNT-TC-1A (Desirable, but not essential)
- Previous experience in a similar role. (Essential)
- Any other NDT Qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Qualification/Experience using overhead Cranes & Forklifts
