We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team of dedicated Radon Specialists as a Trainee Radon Specialist.
This role offers full training and would particularly suit someone with experience in delivery, postal, courier or field-based work who is looking to develop a long-term career within a specialist technical industry.
You will travel to residential properties across the UK, supporting large-scale Radon testing projects, gathering data and helping homeowners understand and reduce Radon gas risks. The role combines driving, customer interaction, technical training and problem-solving, with no two days being the same.
Please Note
No previous experience of Radon is required as full training will be given.
This role involves a significant amount of driving and travel. Successful candidates must be comfortable spending much of their working week on the road, travelling between customer properties and project locations.
Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Spending a significant proportion of the working day driving between customer locations and project sites.
- Occasional overnight stays away from home when supporting projects further from their home location (accommodation and business travel expenses are paid by the company).
- Walking considerable distances between residential properties as part of large-scale Radon testing programmes.
- Working outdoors throughout the year in a variety of weather conditions.
- Travelling across the South, South West and surrounding counties, with occasional travel to other areas of the UK.
This role could be an excellent fit for individuals with experience in postal delivery, courier services, parcel delivery, field service, utility metering, surveying, or other customer-facing roles that involve regular driving, walking and independent working.
