Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Breakfast Supervisor to oversee the morning service at our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food preparation and team management. The Breakfast Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating breakfast service, supervising staff, and maintaining smooth operations from 6:30am/7am until 1pm/2pm.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the breakfast service team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring guests’ needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Train, motivate, and support team members to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders as necessary, and manage inventory to minimise waste.
- Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to uphold the establishment’s reputation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality roles within a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Previous supervising experience with team management responsibilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication skills to effectively lead staff and interact with guests.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and staff development.
- Flexibility to work early mornings as required for breakfast service shifts.
