We're looking for an experienced Agricultural Workshop Engineer / Mechanic to join our team at Oakfields Ag.
We need someone with strong mechanical knowledge and practical engineering skills who can diagnose problems, make effective repairs and turn their hand to a wide range of tractors and farm machinery of all ages.
Our workshop is fast-moving and team focused. Much of what we do is quick diagnosis and practical repair rather than lengthy rebuilds. We work together to solve problems, get machinery repaired and keep it moving through the workshop.
The role includes mechanical fault finding and repairs, general spanner work, welding and fabrication, machinery preparation and helping with general workshop and yard jobs when required.
We're looking for someone who is experienced, adaptable and has a strong team spirit – capable of working independently and solving problems, but equally willing to muck in and help the team get the job done.
