Pinkerton’s Catering is a small independent catering company based in Edinburgh, delivering fresh, high-quality food for private events, corporate catering, and special occasions across the city. We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Prep Chef to join our team on a part-time basis.
-Approximately 15-24 hours per week
-Pay starting from £14 per hour DOE
-Flexible shifts, including some evenings and weekends depending on events
What You’ll Be Doing
-Preparing ingredients and assisting with food prep
-Supporting chefs during busy catering periods
-Maintaining high food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
-Assisting with packing and organising to head to events
-Helping with general kitchen duties as required
What We’re Looking For
-Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred
-Good organisation and time management
-Ability to work well in a small team
-Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
-Food hygiene level 2 minimum
