Job role: Mobile Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer
Location: Enfield & Surrounding area's
Working hours: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (Flexible on start times)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 OTE
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
I am working closely with a leading Plant and Machinery manufacturer with nationwide coverage. At this time, they are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer to join their team. You’ll be out on the road diagnosing faults, carrying out Inspections, Repairs, Servicing along with Warranty work on the fleet of construction and industrial machinery — keeping my clients customers up and running with minimal downtime.
What the Mobile Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer will do
- Diagnose, service, and repair plant and heavy machinery on customer sites.
- Deliver a first-time fix wherever possible.
- Build strong relationships with customers and represent the company professionally.
- Keep accurate job records using a laptop or PDA.
- Work safely and to the highest standards at all times.
What the Mobile Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer will provide
- A minimum NVQ Level 2+ in Plant Engineering, Servicing, or Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Solid experience with hydraulics, transmissions, axles, and electrics.
- Good mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Confidence working independently in the field.
- A full, clean UK driving licence.
