Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team, specialising in, construction, and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess construction knowledge and experience with various tools and machinery. Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators under supervision
- Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and assembly
- Assist with excavation work, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labour safely
- Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card, machinery operation) are preferred but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
Pay: £12.21-£20.74 per hour
