We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites and web applications. You will work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital solutions that enhance user experience and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement website features and functionality.
- Ensure websites are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance across devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues and technical problems.
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services as required.
- Perform website testing, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance.
- Implement security best practices to protect web applications and user data.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements.
- Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2+ years of experience in web development or a similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Python, .NET, or Java.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Drupal, or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
- Knowledge of web security principles and GDPR compliance requirements.

Pay: £56,000.00-£62,000.00 per year
