Trade Copiers Ltd – HGV 7.5T Driver
Trade Copiers Ltd is seeking a reliable and professional HGV 7.5T Driver to join our growing team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance, with no weekend working, only 1–2 nights away from home per week, and regular lunchtime finishes on Fridays.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of goods across the UK. The role primarily involves driving a 7.5-tonne HGV, with occasional van driving duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles for both collections and deliveries of goods
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of goods
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any mechanical or safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving records and logs
- Comply with all road traffic legislation and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid Category C1 driving licence with Driver CPC qualification
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on driving licence
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or HGV driver
- Strong and demonstrable driving record
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Understanding of vehicle safety standards and basic maintenance checks
