Duties
- Develop and deliver tailored drama lessons that cater to individual student needs and learning goals
- Create a supportive environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence-building
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education requirements or learning differences
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their acting, improvisation, voice projection, and stage presence
- Prepare students for performances, auditions, or assessments by guiding rehearsals and coaching techniques
- Maintain clear communication with students and guardians regarding progress, schedules, and lesson plans
- Track student development and adjust lesson plans to ensure continuous growth and engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching drama, theatre arts, or related fields desired
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with learners of varying ages and backgrounds
- Experience working with children and understanding of child development principles
- Passion for the performing arts combined with patience, enthusiasm, and adaptability
- Ability to design creative lesson plans that are both educational and entertaining
