We are a well-established, family-run double glazing company looking for a motivated and personable Sales Assistant to join our showroom team. If you enjoy meeting people, providing excellent customer service, and helping customers find the right products for their homes, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming showroom experience. You'll listen to customers' needs, explain our range of windows, doors, conservatories, and other home improvement products, and help guide them through the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the showroom and provide a friendly, professional service.
- Understand customers' requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Prepare quotations and follow up sales enquiries.
- Arrange appointments for surveyors or sales representatives where required.
- Maintain an attractive and organised showroom.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly.
- Build strong relationships with customers and deliver an excellent buying experience.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth customer journey.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using computers and basic office software.
- Experience within the double glazing, home improvement, or construction industry would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
