We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and reliable warehouse operatives to join our clients team, one of the UK'S biggest and well known retail groups.
No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are hardworking, committed, and looking to build a long-term career in logistics and warehousing.
Salary:
- Day Shift – up to £12.30 per hour
- Evening Shift – up to £13.05 per hour
- Night Shift – up to £13.80 per hour
- Additional £1.00/hour for shifts starting on Saturdays or Sundays
Hours: Full-Time – Various shifts available
Contract Type: Permanent opportunities available

Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, your daily tasks will include:
- Picking, packing, and processing orders
- Scanning and pricing stock
- Loading and unloading goods
- Labelling, sorting, and palletising items
- General warehouse cleaning and housekeeping
- Complying with Health & Safety procedures at all times
Shifts Available
We operate across three key shift patterns:
Day Shift
- 06:00 – 14:30
- Rota: Any 5 from 7 (40 hours/week)
Evening Shift
- 14:30 – 23:00
- Rota: Any 5 from 7 (40 hours/week)
Night Shift
- 21:30 – 06:00
- Rota: 4 ON / 2 OFF (40 hours/week)
Additional overtime may be available during peak periods.
Physical Requirements
Please note this is an active role requiring:
- Standing/walking for long periods (5 to 8.5 hours)
- Lifting and moving items up to 25kg
- Bending, stretching, and reaching above shoulder height
- Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
- Pushing and pulling stock up to 25kg
Candidate Requirements
- A good standard of verbal and written English
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Aged 18 or over (due to shift regulations)
