We’re looking for enthusiastic Bar & Club Assistants to join the team at Wickham Park Golf Club.
This is a hands-on role where no two shifts are quite the same. You’ll be at the heart of the clubhouse, looking after our members, golfers and guests and making sure they leave with a smile.
Please note: due to the nature of the role and the service of alcohol, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
What will you be doing?
From serving drinks at the bar to welcoming golfers onto the course, you’ll play an important part in creating a great experience.
Your day could include:
- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Taking and delivering food and drink orders
- Welcoming members and guests with friendly, attentive service
- Serving tables and keeping the clubhouse looking its best
- Clearing tables and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Checking golfers in and helping them get ready for their round
- Making sure golf buggies and trolleys are clean, tidy and available
- Monitoring alcohol consumption and following responsible service procedures
- Working safely and following all health & safety requirements
- Going the extra mile to make every visit a great one
What are we looking for?
You don’t need to have worked in a golf club before. What matters most is your attitude and your approach to people.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Naturally friendly, welcoming and approachable
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering great service
- A confident communicator with a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy, customer-facing environment
- Happy working independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible and available to work weekends and across a 7-day operation
- Reliable, enthusiastic and ready to get stuck in
