Requirements for a Deputy Housekeeping Manager
- To assist in the implementation of all housekeeping standards and procedures.
- To assist in the planning and allocation of work to the Supervisors and Room Attendants.
- Assist with training the housekeeping team in all department standards and procedures.
- To ensure the turndown shift is implemented
- Deputise for Head Housekeeper in their absence
- Assist with management of linen and cleaning products stock
- Attend to guest requirements and requests
- Maintain accurate records of stock, room standards, service recovery, cleaning schedules and training
- To maintain linen stocks and all supplies ensuring that linen stocks are dispatched and received as per Resort standards.
Requirements for a Deputy Housekeeping Manager
- Friendly, outgoing and motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
- Excellent personal appearance and hygiene standards
- Inspirational leadership and supervisory skills
- Great attention to detail
- Knowledge of industry related regulations
- Willing to adopt a hands on approach to cover sickness/holiday
