Are you passionate about driving growth and building strong commercial partnerships? We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our team, focused on expanding sales and Numark membership across a portfolio of Regional Multiple Pharmacy groups.
In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of the pharmacy sector to identify new business opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and build long-term strategic partnerships. Working closely with cross-functional teams and as part of the Numark Sales Key Account Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy, supporting customer success, and contributing to the continued growth of Numark and our wider network.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements for the Role:
- Work as part of the Key Account Sales Team, supporting colleagues and sharing best practice to deliver consistent, high-quality customer outcomes.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the pharmacy industry and the challenges faced by Key Account customers operating six or more stores.
- Experience in pharmaceutical wholesale sales is desirable and would provide a strong foundation for success in the role.
- Drive business growth by maximising Numark's commercial and service offerings across both new and existing accounts.
- Work collaboratively with internal category teams to promote propositions, identify opportunities, and increase sales.
- Prepare compelling business proposals and member presentations, using strong commercial awareness and analytical insights.
- Excellent organisational and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Understand category profitability and manage the profit mix effectively when developing business proposals.
- Build strong relationships with all members, acting as trusted advisers and striving to deliver a best-in-class account management experience across the industry.
- Promote the full Numark proposition to selected customers, focusing on the areas most relevant to their individual business needs.
- Conduct regular business reviews to identify opportunities for growth and increase engagement with Phoenix and Numark.
- Maintain awareness of market trends and industry developments through attendance at key events and conferences.
- Set, monitor, and report against monthly, quarterly, and annual Key Account Manager targets
- Ensure customer feedback, concerns, and innovative ideas are communicated internally and that appropriate actions are taken.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments across Numark and Phoenix to ensure timely follow-up on opportunities, enquiries, and customer requests.
- Support the development of sales strategy by sharing customer insights, identifying growth opportunities, and highlighting potential new revenue streams.
