Stage 1-5 Production Manager
Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday – Thursday and 7.30am – 3.30pm on Fridays (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch each day).
You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
Key Objectives
You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of 12V and 24V electrical systems on trailers and vehicle bodies. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical wiring, fault finding and diagnostics, together with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuit drawings. Strong practical skills and experience using crimping and soldering tools are essential. Experience working with lighting, battery, motor and PLC circuits, as well as electrical systems on HGV trailers or commercial vehicles, would be advantageous.
Responsibilities Include:
- Following technical drawings and specification sheets
- Installing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Be able to work individually and within a team to meet production targets
- Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
- Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
- Maintaining production area housekeeping
- Minimise waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
- Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
- Ability to fault find electric components/wiring to ensure the quality of the product meets Tiger’s expectation.

Essential
- Experience installing and commissioning 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Previous experience in electrical wiring, fault finding and diagnostics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and specification sheets
- Experience using crimping, soldering and general electrical assembly tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production targets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
Desirable
- Experience working on HGV trailers, commercial vehicles or vehicle bodywork
- Previous trailer manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of lighting, battery, motor and PLC circuits
- Experience within an automotive, commercial vehicle or transport manufacturing environment
- Relevant electrical qualifications or certifications
