People Support are recrutiing motivated and compassionate individuals to join our expanding community support service across Carmarthenshire, including Ammanford, Llanelli, Carmarthen, and surrouding areas, including rural villages and towns in Carmarthenshire.

This role involves travelling within the community to support people in their own homes with day-to-day living, wellbeing and independence.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role due to community-based working.
Salary & Employee
- Weekday rate: £13.45 per hour
- Weekend rate: £13.85 per hour
- Bank Holiday rate: £21.00 per hour
- 45p per mile mileage allowance
- Paid from shift start to shift finish (minus lunch break)
About the Role
As a Home Care Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to adults living within the community including personal care. Every day is different and the role focuses heavily on promoting independence, confidence and wellbeing.
Support may include:
- Assisting with morning and evening routines
- Supporting with toileting, washing and personal care
- Supporting people with mobility around their home
- Medication administration and prompts
- Shopping and meal preparation
- Encouraging social interaction and community engagement
- Providing reassurance and companionship
- Supporting people living with physical disabilities, frailty or health conditions
- Assisting with moving and handling equipment where required
