1.0 Lead and manage complex structural engineering projects from initial instruction through to completion.
2.0 Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
3.0 Undertake structural assessments, investigations and technical reviews.
4.0 Deliver holistic structural engineering consultancy advice to commercial developer and institutional investor clients’
5.0 Deliver innovative solutions for structural remediation following fire, flooding, subsidence, impact damage and structural defects.
6.0 Carry out and oversee structural surveys, defect investigations and forensic engineering assessments.
7.0 Produce high-quality technical reports and engineering advice.
8.0 Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and graduates.
9.0 Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
10.0 Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities and promoting TFT's in-house technical expertise.
11.0 Support the continuous development of technical standards and best practice across the business.
12.0 Represent TFT through presentations, technical papers, industry events and professional networking.

Success in this role requires the ability to bring together interdisciplinary engineering expertise to solve complex structural problems through:

Skills and behaviour
1.0 Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE or MICE).
2.0 Demonstrable experience successfully leading and managing projects while acting as the primary client interface.
3.0 Broad structural engineering experience covering both new-build and refurbishment projects.
4.0 Significant experience in structural remediation, including projects arising from fire, flooding, subsidence, structural defects and damage investigations.
5.0 Strong understanding of structural analysis principles and engineering behaviour.
6.0 Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
7.0 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8.0 Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.
9.0 A personable, approachable and supportive leadership style.
10.0 Passion for mentoring and developing high-performing technical teams.
