Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our domicilary care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in senior care, assisted living, and specialized patient management. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, and a dedication to delivering exceptional care to individuals with diverse needs, including those with dementia, disabilities, or requiring hospice support. The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, maintaining high-quality service delivery, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the care team to deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and best practices.
- Supervise staff recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development programmes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including health and safety regulations and care standards.
- Monitor quality assurance processes and conduct regular audits to maintain high standards of care.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to optimise service delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families, external healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Oversee medication administration programmes and ensure proper documentation procedures are followed.
- Promote a safe environment by recognising potential hazards related to patient care or facility operations.
- Lead initiatives related to dementia care, Alzheimer's care, home care services, and specialised therapies such as laboratory testing or medical imaging when applicable.
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living environments or nursing homes with a strong focus on senior care.
- Demonstrable supervisory or team management experience within healthcare settings.
- Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s support strategies, and managing individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with case management principles and patient care protocols across various healthcare disciplines including hospice and ICU settings.

Pay: £15,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
