Working closely with the Housing and Resident Engagement Manager, you will support Resident Forums and Associations, promote resident involvement, gather and analyse feedback, and help translate resident insight into practical service improvements.

Role Details
- Role : Resident Engagement Officer
- Hours : 37.5 hours per week (Full Time / Permanent)
- Location: Head Office, Coventry, CV3 2SN / ExtraCare Locations as required
- Salary : £37,500 per annum
About you
- You are a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- You are organised, proactive and able to coordinate meetings, actions, and follow-up activity effectively.
- You are comfortable gathering, interpreting, and presenting feedback in a clear and practical way.
- You care about inclusion and can encourage a wide range of residents to have their say, including those who may not usually take part in formal meetings.
- You are motivated by making a visible difference to people’s homes, services, and communities.
Key Duties:7
- Support the Housing and Resident Engagement Manager to deliver ExtraCare’s resident engagement framework, ensuring residents can contribute to decisions that affect their homes, services, and communities.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Resident Forums, resident groups, and engagement events, ensuring actions are followed up in a timely and transparent way.
- Promote resident involvement across villages and schemes, encouraging a broad and diverse range of residents to take part, including those who may not usually engage through formal meetings.
- Support the development, set-up and ongoing effectiveness of Resident Associations and other local engagement arrangements, providing guidance and practical assistance where required.
- Gather, record, and analyse resident feedback from forums, surveys, complaints, compliments, local events and informal engagement, identifying themes and opportunities for service improvement.
- Work with operational colleagues to ensure resident feedback is communicated clearly and used to inform service planning, policy development, resident communications, and continuous improvement activity.
