We are looking for an outstanding Bakery & Coffee Shop Assistant Manager to join our team at our newest Heidi Bakery inside Richmond Station.
Heidi is an expanding bakery and coffee-shop brand with 8 stores across London, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire - and growing. Our Richmond Station store is one of our busiest locations, and we’re looking for someone who can support Pablo our General Manager in delivering fantastic customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
We bake everything from scratch in-house, using high-quality ingredients (many sourced from the continent) so our products truly stand out on the high street. From French pastries, pizzas and quiches to salads, speciality cakes and exceptional coffee. Everything is freshly prepared and beautifully presented.
Our philosophy is simple: let our food and coffee do the talking.

Your Profile
- Warm, cheerful and confident when interacting with customers
- Passionate about delivering great customer experience every time
- Experience in a front-of-house food and beverage environment
- Barista/coffee experience preferred
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Comfortable working early mornings and daytime shifts
- A supportive team player who also enjoys leading by example
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager and take an active role in day-to-day operations, including:
- Liaising closely with the General Manager
- Completing daily FOH checks and ensuring standards are met
- Serving high volumes of customers efficiently and warmly
- Working productively with chefs and the wider team
- Upholding the high standards of every item we serve through strong product knowledge and training
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times
- Assisting with customer communication
- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety protocols are followed
- Helping to motivate and organise the team
- Leading shifts when required to ensure exceptional service
- Demonstrating excellent up-selling techniques and encouraging the team to do the same
- Supporting the launch and daily running of our new store opening January 2026
- Other duties as required
