Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
This position is based in Birchwood, working Monday to Friday between 6pm and 8pm.
Job role will be on-site at a precise location.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Dust surfaces, clean windows, and maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new techniques or methods in cleaning practices.
- Reliable transportation to get to the workplace
