Were looking for a compassionate and motivated Foot Health Practitioner to join our Clinic in Spalding.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by delivering high quality, patient centred foot care. You'll support one of the most vulnerable patient populations, helping to improve foot health, promote self-management and prevent deterioration through early intervention.
You'll work closely with an HCPC registered podiatrist and the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team, with the autonomy to manage your own clinics while benefiting from clinical supervision and strong team support.
Main duties of the job
As our Foot Health Practitioner, you will be:
- Delivering high quality, non-judgemental foot care in line with treatment plans agreed with a podiatrist.
- Managing your own clinical caseload, including planning and running clinics within the prison healthcare setting.
- Providing routine foot treatments such as nail care, diabetic foot checks and basic wound care.
- Monitoring patients foot health and identifying changes that require escalation to a podiatrist.
- Supporting patients with education and advice to encourage selfcare and long term foot health.
- Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
- Working collaboratively with podiatrists, healthcare colleagues and the wider MDT to ensure coordinated care.
- Taking part in supervision, audit activity and service development.
About us
With your experience working as a Foot Health Practitioner, podiatry assistant or foot care assistant, you will also have:
- A recognised Foot Health Practitioner qualification (e.g., SMAE or IOCP).
- A compassionate, non-judgemental approach with strong patient-centred values.
- Confidence working independently while recognising when to escalate concerns appropriately.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage patients who may face barriers to care.
- Good understanding of clinical governance, health & safety and evidence based practice.
- Competent IT skills and confidence maintaining clinical records.
- A flexible, proactive and motivated attitude, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.

Pay: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
